Quilting machines have experienced decades of development in China. in the late 1950s, the light industry introduced generalisation and standardisation of domestic sewing machines, unified design drawings, improved compatibility of components and led to an increasing number of sewing machine manufacturers, laying the foundation for the subsequent emergence of quilting machines. Now in the 21st century, quilting machines play an important role not only in domestic sewing but also in many industrial scenarios. This article will give a brief introduction to quilting machines by describing how they are maintained.
